ABOUT US

Built for women. rooted in connection. created to make meaningful conversations easier to Find.

Sisterhood Health & Lifestyle Magazine and Sisterhood Society PDX were created from one simple belief: women need spaces where they can learn, connect, share, and feel supported through every stage of life.

The magazine was created to bring together expert voices, personal experiences, and practical resources around the topics women are often navigating quietly: health changes, hormones, menopause, wellness, relationships, identity, confidence, purpose, aging, and lifestyle.

Sisterhood Society PDX was created to bring that same sense of support into real life. Through local events, networking, social gatherings, and community experiences, Sisterhood Society PDX gives women a place to meet, connect, collaborate, and build friendships.

Together, these two brands support the same larger mission while serving women in different ways. The magazine informs and inspires through content. The support group creates online connection around that content. Sisterhood Society PDX brings women together through in-person community and events.

Our Team

Amy gehring

I created Sisterhood because I wanted women to have more places to feel seen, supported, and connected. Through my work in publishing, community building, and event planning, I have seen how powerful it is when women have access to helpful information and genuine connection.

Sisterhood Health & Lifestyle gives women a place to read, learn, and hear from experts and real voices. Sisterhood Society PDX gives women a place to gather, meet others, and build community in person. My hope is that every woman who finds us feels like she has found a place where she belongs.

Founder

As the editor and designer behind our magazine, I am deeply honored to be trusted with sharing the insight, expertise, and experiences of so many incredible women. As a writer, traveler, Sociologist, and advocate for authentic living, I am passionate about bringing women together through shared stories, knowledge, and resources. I’m here for the conversations that are a little uncomfortable, the questions many of us have been afraid to ask, and the community that simply asks you to come as you are. My hope for this magazine is that it inspires, empowers, educates, and reminds us that we are so much better together. Thank you for being here!

OUR VALUES

OUR MISSION

to create spaces where women feel seen, heard, informed, and connected. Through digital storytelling, expert insight, community conversations, and local events, we bring women together around the real experiences that shape our lives.

Sisterhood Gives Back

Sisterhood is more than a magazine and community. It is also a growing movement to support women who are facing difficult life transitions and need help starting over.

A percentage of proceeds from our Etsy shop, including digital magazine downloads, goes toward helping local women in need. This includes women who are navigating hard seasons, leaving harmful situations, or starting over. Your support helps us grow our ability to connect women with encouragement, resources, services, and practical support as they rebuild and move forward.

Empowering women together

Sisterhood offers opportunities for aligned businesses, wellness brands, service providers, and community partners to connect with an audience of women who value health, lifestyle, learning, and connection.

Opportunities may include magazine ads, sponsored features, contributor sponsorships, event tie-ins, social media mentions, and community collaborations.
